Gatwitch was designed by Emmanuel Jal in a way that redefines the notion of a record label. We seek out and support local talent, offering fair deals to artists, both signed and independent. Gatwitch strives to give artists an international platform, but also reverses this process to bring world attention to their communities of origin.
Gatwitch strives to enrich local communities by putting up cultural and educational events, as well as sending part of the proceeds generated from music toward various community projects. We support all charitable endeavours that the artists we work with undertake, and develop partnerships with companies whose CSR programs match our musicians' humanitarian interests. Our artists are currently running educational and environmental campaigns, and receiving financial, logistical and marketing support from the record label in all events revolving around those issues.
